Experimenting with faces this time around. Painted this after trying out Star Trek Online again so it has a definite Trekkie feel. This one’s probably the one that has taken the longest time so far; the shading for faces has to be done right for it to look “normal,” even thought it’s just a caricature.

Another drawing made with Sketchbook Pro for iPad 2. This time I played around with using layers and different effects and textures to create more depth. I like how it turned out and the hesitant, almost-frightened eyes inspired the title.

A doodle that turned into artwork. I don’t think of this as finished just yet but it looks nice enough to show. I need to work more on the lighting and shadows and add some texture and scars to the skin, possibly also add a little of the bust for good measure.

Just a bit of fun on a lazy Friday afternoon during a network interruption at work. Even though it’s pretty simple, I actually like how this turned out and might even come up with a series of others.
